Confession #2

During the confession, we reflect on our sins and our failings. It is a time to ask forgiveness and resolve to seek to follow the will of God. I’m continually haunted by the line “what I have left undone, undone, undone…”, worrying that I haven’t done enough, been kind enough, been assertive enough in standing up for others. The text is the confession from the Rite II Eucharist (BCP, 1979) in my own handwriting, because there is not a more personal prayer of supplication.
