Hello artist friends,
I'm working on a presentation on pricing and art quilt sales for a professional appraisers group (and hopefully to give as a SAQA presentation at some point in future). As art quilters I know lots of us struggle with pricing and it feels like something everyone might benefit from additional information on. Everybody talks about it, but it’s really hard to find concrete information.
I'm asking as many art quilters as I know to fill out the survey below with as much or as little information as folks are comfortable sharing about how they price and sell their art quilts. All data will be completely anonymized, no artist names or individual responses will be released or shared, but the more information I can gather and aggregate together the better for getting representative information.
At the bottom I've asked for your name and email address, this is completely optional and will only be used if you are open to follow-up questions or are interested in the anonymized results of the survey (which I will happily share).
Please try to fill out the survey by November 7, and please feel free to forward it to any art quilters in your circle. I'm interested in art quilters at all stages (i.e. from new people to full-time professionals).
